Period Trader | Nestor Soler Effective date: 2026-10-04 Privacy contact: admin@periodtrader.com

1. Who is responsible

Nestor Soler operates Period Trader and is responsible for personal information processed for its software licensing, support and product operations. Whop, brokers, exchanges, hosting providers and other services also process information for their own purposes under their respective privacy notices. This policy is not a promise that connected services receive no data.

2. Local operation and connected services

The Windows application stores trading settings, strategy files, reports, cached market data and relevant account configuration on your computer. Connecting a broker or exchange necessarily sends authentication and trading requests to that service and receives account and market data. Your provider may process credentials, orders, balances and account identifiers under its own terms.

We do not need you to send us your broker password or exchange API secret for ordinary support. Do not share them. Data you send voluntarily in screenshots, messages or reports can nevertheless contain account information; review and redact it first. This policy does not claim that every data item always stays on your computer.

3. Information processed

Licensing, account and payments

Whop processes purchase, account, subscription and payment information. We may receive information needed to supply access and support, such as account name, purchase email, membership status, order or membership references and billing history available to the seller. The desktop application's license validation sends the license key to Whop and receives membership status. The application's activation record includes a device fingerprint stored locally to bind the license to the machine; this is not a claim that the fingerprint is routinely uploaded by license validation.

The website uses Whop sign-in and related session/token storage where you choose to sign in. License, cancellation and billing requests are processed to provide your account functions. Payment-card entry is handled by Whop or its payment providers, not by the desktop application.

Automatic error reporting

Current software includes automatic technical error reporting, enabled by default in builds where reporting is configured. Reports can contain an error message, stack trace, app version, operating-system details, timestamps, counters and technical context. Reports can be queued locally and sent later to a private GitHub report repository when a reporting connection is available. The code attempts to redact credential-like strings and local paths before sending, but redaction cannot be guaranteed perfect. This is not anonymous by guarantee and is not limited to manually reviewed reports.

You can disable Error Reporting in application Settings to stop future report collection and sending. Turning it off does not retract reports already received. Contact us about an existing report or inadvertent sensitive disclosure.

Optional collective learning

Collective learning is off by default and sends data only when enabled and a sharing destination is configured. Payloads include a generated persistent client identifier, timestamp, app version and aggregated backtest statistics by strategy and symbol, such as win rate, profit factor, drawdown, return and trade count. The client identifier is pseudonymous; the data is not guaranteed irreversibly anonymous. This feature is designed not to include raw individual trades, balances, positions or broker/exchange secrets. Shared submissions may be sent to a configured endpoint or GitHub destination.

Disable collective learning in Settings to stop future sharing. If it is enabled, its purpose is product research and aggregated strategy-performance analysis. Do not enable it if you do not wish these statistics to be shared.

Support, community and services you choose

We process messages, email addresses, purchase references and files you provide when requesting help, refunds or privacy assistance. Whop community posts and messages have visibility determined by their channel and platform settings. Public posts may be visible to other members or visitors; do not put confidential information in them.

When you deliberately use an external AI tool, messaging integration or other external provider with Period Trader information, the material you provide or the integration sends is processed by that provider. Review its settings and privacy notice before sharing strategy code, account context or reports. This policy does not represent every external provider as our processor or promise that its processing remains local.

Website and network records

Whop and website infrastructure providers can process IP addresses, user-agent details, requests and security logs. Downloads and updates may contact GitHub or other configured distribution services. Those services can receive ordinary network metadata. The website uses browser storage for preferences such as language and for account sign-in functions; third-party sites have their own cookie and storage policies.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process information to provide and verify access, manage purchased entitlements, answer support and refund requests, secure the service, investigate faults and comply with applicable recordkeeping requirements. Where relevant law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on contractual necessity, legal obligations or proportionate legitimate interests in security and reliable software, as applicable. Optional collective sharing relies on your choice to enable it and consent where required.

Default-on technical reporting is described above rather than presented as opt-in consent. Where applicable law requires prior consent or another condition that has not been met, this policy alone does not supply that consent; the necessary controls must be implemented before that processing. You may object or disable reporting as described.

5. Recipients and transfers

Relevant recipients can include Whop and its payment providers; website/infrastructure providers; GitHub for distribution and configured reporting/sharing; your configured broker, exchange or external integration; and authorities where lawfully required. We may also disclose information reasonably needed to establish or defend legal claims. We do not authorize selling customer personal information or sharing it for third-party targeted advertising under this policy.

Providers may process information outside your country. Their own notices describe their locations and safeguards. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other protection, it must be satisfied; this policy does not assert that a particular contract or safeguard exists without verification.

6. Retention and security

We retain records only as reasonably needed for the described purposes, applicable legal retention requirements and resolution of disputes. Support and diagnostic records should not be kept longer than needed to investigate and address issues. Whop and other providers may have separate retention periods. Local files remain under your control; uninstalling may not delete all local application data or cancel a subscription.

We use access restrictions, encrypted network connections where supported and report redaction to reduce risk. No transmission, device or storage method is completely secure. Protect your computer and accounts, and revoke exposed credentials directly with their provider.

7. Your choices and rights

Contact admin@periodtrader.com to request access, correction, deletion, information about retention, or restriction or objection where applicable. Depending on your location, you may also have portability rights, the right to withdraw consent and the right to complain to a competent regulator. We may need proportionate proof of account ownership and may retain records required by law. Do not send passwords or identity documents unsolicited.

For data held independently by Whop, your broker, exchange or another provider, you may also need to contact that provider. Disabling a feature stops future processing as described but does not automatically erase previously received information.

8. Children and changes

Period Trader is not directed at children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We may update this policy to reflect software or provider changes, with notice of material changes where required. Updated text does not create consent retroactively.
